William Russell's 167 broke the club individual batting record (previously Paul Staley's 151no v Histon) as Thriplow IIs ran riot against Burrough Green on Saturday.

He hit twenty 4s and nine 6s and helped by 94no from Tom Care and 39 from Martin Dabnor, the team scored a mammoth 367-4 from their 40 overs.  A shell shocked Burrough Green were then bowled out for 141 with Mark Deed taking 4-41.

Unfortunately Care and Tinkler only managed singles off the last two balls of the innings thus meaning the club team record score of 369-8 remains intact  - this was by the 1s against Milton in 2010 although off 45 overs.
